Cherry Blossom
Hotel Pop Up

City Center, Washington DC

We were asked to transform this expansive City Center hotel atrium into an intimate Japanese Garden for the DC Cherry Blossom Festival so that they could welcome guests for events and stays from all over the world.

By integrating natural elements, simplicity, and balance, Japanese gardens strive to provide environments that foster meditation, introspection, and connection with nature. We embraced this philosophy in the atrium by creating an immersive design experience that resonates with the tranquility of Japanese garden design, celebrates DC’s treasured trees, and seamlessly harmonizes with the hotel’s modern and sophisticated branding.
