The last time we wrote a blog was nearly 3 years ago. That’s 750+ days! It seems like yesterday, and it seems like a few lifetimes ago. When I wrote that blog, I was bunkering down with my parents while we were figuring out what was going on in the world. Like with all families, it was a challenging time. I was fortunate that I had the unexpected opportunity to spend time with my parents and I will look back fondly on the family memories we created.
Since then, a lot has changed at RBI. Every person on our team faced change. We overcame serious health diagnosis. We added new members to our family. We blended families. We lost loved ones. We moved. We sent kids off to college. And boarding school. Our team grew and we found opportunities for personal and professional development.
Through the pivots and changes, we reflected on what mattered most to us as a firm and what makes us different. With that in mind, we have taken a bold step forward to define our unique vision, our beliefs, and how to translate our values into bringing purposeful design to our clients.
At the heart of it, we are interior designers and experts at living. We believe good design supports a good quality of life. We create functional, visual representations of who our clients are, and how they live, so that their homes are thoughtfully tailored to their individual personality and values.

You may have noticed that our brand and website has a new look since the last time you checked out our page. We’ve had the pleasure of working with Limonata Creative, the multi-talented duo of Giulietta Pinna and Nate Bachmann. Over the past year Giulietta has helped art direct & style on several of our project photo shoots while Nate stepped in to help evolve our branding (logos, fonts, color palette, etc.) and spearheaded our website redesign. We couldn’t be more happy with the process and ultimately the results!
